Willamette Valley Native Plant Partnership

Oregon Iris Seed Production Credit: Alexis Larsen (WVNPP)

The Willamette Valley Native Plant Partnership (WVNPP) was formed in 2012 with the goals of pooling resources and coordinating production efforts to improve native plant material availability for the Willamette Valley Ecoregion. A diverse group of 24 public and private organizations and native plant material producers joined together to strengthen efforts to produce and use genetically diverse native plant materials in Willamette Valley restoration, revegetation, and mitigation projects. The WVNPP now has over 30 partners and has collected seed from 38 species, established 22 native seed production fields, and distributed over 4,500 pounds of native seed.
