Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to accessibility
The Pacific Northwest Oak Alliance is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Measures to support accessibility
PNOA has taken the following measures to ensure accessibility of our website:
Evaluation of web accessibility using the Chrome browser extension, WAVE, an accessibility evaluation tool developed by WebAIM.org.
Developing and designing page layouts with accessibility in mind.
Fixing errors to align with WCAG 2.2 accessibility and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and Section 508 compliance.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. Conformance is a work in progress.
